Many animals have evolved to help themselves camouflage in with the environment. This helps them from being seen, and therefore from being eaten. Humans in turn have tried to create the same effect by creating clothing that blends into its surroundings. Camo is now known as the military's uniform, with each country having their own specific style. Take Frog Skin camo for example, the first disruptive camo used by the US military starting in the 1940s. The thing is, though, it looks good. So as civilians it helps us stand out rather than fade away. This vintage Cabela's made in the USA jacket, lightly worn with a few light marks, features a nice Frog Skin camo.
